Here is Jana Burčeska’s entry: Dance Alone!

Macedonian broadcaster MRT announced an open call for songs for their hopeful Jana Burčeska back in November and had received over 200 songs since. They state that, actually, from the very beginning one particular song struck a cord with them. According to Head of Delegation Meri Popova because it was the right song for Jana to express her temperament and emotions. That song was ‘Dance Alone’. And now it has been released for all to enjoy:

The story line was developed by and the video itself directed by Sergey Zhelezko, a Russian director living in Sofia, Bulgaria. And the international involvement doesn’t stop there as the composers for the song are Joacim Perrson, Alex Omar, Florence A. and Bobi-Leon Milanov from the composers collective Symphonix International. The same collective the authors of the Serbian song are part of.
For her performance on stage she will work with Ambra Succi, who has previously choreographed Loreen’s Euphoria and Poli Genova’s If Love Was A Crime.

Jana will be singing her song ‘Dance Alone’ in the second semi-final on May 11 in Kyiv.
