Koit Toome & Laura win Eesti Laul 2017!

After a tense Superfinal in tonight’s Eesti Laul,  Koit Toome & Laura have won with their song “Verona” and will be representing Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Kyiv in May!

A packed Saku Suurhall in Tallinn saw performances from the 10 finalists to an enthusiastic crowd

1. Liis Lemsalu – Keep Running
2. Koit Toome & Laura – Verona
3. Karl-Kristjan & Whogaux ft. Maian – Have You Now
4. Lenna Kuurmaa – Slingshot
5. Daniel Levi – All I Need
6. Elina Born – In Or Out
7. Ivo Linna – Suur lotteri
8. Rasmus Rändvee – This Love
9. Ariadne – Feel Me Now
10. Kerli – Spirit Animal

Three songs went through to a Superfinal, chosen by 50% televote and 50% expert international juries, these Superfinalists were :

Koit Toome & Laura – Verona
Rasmus Rändvee – This Love
Kerli – Spirit Animal

The lines were then re-opened for 100% televote to chose the winner and Koit Toome & Laura were announced! There was a nice nod to the Oscars debacle, as Mart received another envelope in a frantic exchange with a production assistant, however this second envelope also confirmed Koit & Laura as winners!

Estonia will be participating in the second half of Semi Final 2 on May 11th, and will be hoping to qualify after last year’s disappointment when Juri Pootsman with his song “Play” failed to make the Grand Final
