RUV, the Icelandic broadcaster revealed the running order for the Final of Söngvakeppnin 2017, which will be held on Saturday. The winner of the national selection will get the opportunity to represent Iceland in Eurovision 2017 in Kiev.
Seven artists (six qualifiers in televoting, and one wild-card) will compete with the hope of obtaining the golden ticket to represent their country in Kiev. Here is the running order for the show:
- Aron Hannes – Tonight
- Arnar Jónsson & Rakel Pálsdóttir – Again
- Aron Brink – Hypnotized
- Hildur – Bammbaramm
- Rúnar Eff – Make you way back home
- Svala – Paper
- Daði Freyr Pétursson – Is this love?
Three acts qualified during the first semi-final: Aron Hannes, Rúnar Eff and Arnar Jónsson & Rakel Pálsdóttir. During the second semi-final, Aron Brink, Svala and Daði Freyr Pétursson qualified for the Final. Hildur, who participated in the first semi-final also obtained a wild-card for the Final. Last year, Greta Salome represented Iceland in Stockholm, with her song ”Hear them calling”. She finished 14th in the first semi-final, with a total of 51 points.
