Put your Lighters up for András Kállay Saunders

Having a new single out, getting his band’s new album ready, playing in the Hungarian Artists’ Football Team at the Artists’ World Championship; András Kállay Saunders – Hungary’s representative at the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest – has a lot on his plate at the moment.

His latest single “Lighters” has just hit the radio stations, and it’s already getting a lot of airplay. Meanwhile, András is in Moscow, where he is competing as a member of the Hungarian football team in the Artists’ World Championship, and together with his team he finished second in their group and will play in the “Super Stars Semi Finals” for 5th to 8th places in this Championship.

Kállay Saunders Band claimed to have finished their new album last December, and they even planned an album launch gig at the end of April, but then plans changed as they decided to work more on their album and record a few more tracks. “Lighters” is one of the freshly produced songs – it’s got a very cool and trendy dancehall sound with electro beats and a little bit of hip hop.

The new album’s probable launch time is now set to September, let’s keep our fingers crossed! In the meanwhile, you can listen to “Lighters”  right here:
