Iveta Mukuchyan, who came 7th for Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 with LoveWave, has released a new song and the music video to go with followed immediately!

Her song is called ‘Depi Nor Irakanutyun’ (which translates to ‘Towards a New Reality’). Iveta has composed the song herself and has also had hand in the lyrics, which she did together with Avet Barseghyan.

The song is powerful and knows how to combine both a folky Armenian vibe with contemporary sound effects, that edgy effect furthered by the video where they make smart use of the lighting, the way they’ve arranged the shot transitions and the addition of dancers with wolf masks. The video director is Arthur Manukyan and the cinematographer for this piece has been Arthur Abovyan.
