Over 350 songs received for A Dal 2018!

The deadline for submitting an entry for A Dal 2018 has finished last night (after it was extended from the original deadline – 15th of November), and MTVA has just informed ESCBubble that over 350 entries have been received for next year’s competition.

The submission number for A Dal is pretty constant, and the interest for this competition in the country remains high after Joci Pápai’s success with “Origo” both in the country, as well as at Eurovision. The preselection jury (which will partly also consist of the jurors who will be a part of the show) will now listen to all of the submitted entries, and select the best 30 which will be entering the live shows.

All 30 participants of A Dal 2018 are going to be revealed at a special press conference which will take place at the start of December in Budapest. The first heat of A Dal 2018 will be held on the 20th of January, but prior to that, there will be two shows about the past six editions of this competition – on the 6th and the 13th of January. This year’s edition will consist of six shows – three heats, two semi finals, and a Grand Final on the 24th of February.
