Melodifestivalen 2018 acts to be revealed on November 28th!

Following the announcement, made by SVT, we’ll meet acts, who’ll try to wave the the Swedish flag at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Lisbon Portugal next May, no later than in a week time, of course after winning Melodifestivalen.

In order, to reveal names, who’ll take part at Melodifestivalen, SVT will organise a press conference on November 28, at 9:30 AM,to reveal, who will compete for a golden ticket to the Portuguese capital. If you want to follow the press conference, you can do it via livestream, which will be going on right here. It’s not a secret that Melodifestivalen is actually the biggest national selection for the Eurovision, which is getting the biggest attention not only in Sweden, but also abroad; this is why the preparations for the events are in full swing already.

Quick reminder of the event itself: tickets went on sale last month, feel free to purchase them here, and so was David Lindgren announced as a host of an upcoming Melodifestivalen 2018. SVT received 2771 submissions, but only once will get a chance to represent Sweden at the big stage in Portugal.

  • 10/02/2018: Semi-final 2 – Gothenburg, Scandinavium
  • 17/02/2018: Semi-final 3 – Malmö, Malmö Arena
  • 24/02/2018: Semi-final 4 – Örnsköldsvik, Fjällräven Center
  • 03/03/2018: Andra chansen – Kristianstad, Kristianstad Arena
  • 10/03/2018: Final – Stockholm, Friends Arena
