Russia win 15th Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017!
Russia have won the 15th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Polina Bogusevich with her huge power ballad “Wings” got support from both the International Juries (coming 2nd) and the online public vote (coming 6th) to provide an overall victory with 188 points over Georgia in 2nd (185) and Australia in 3rd (172)
The Netherlands won the public online vote with 112 points, but added to the 44 they got from the juries it was only enough to get them 4th place (156)
The online voting suffered crashes in the voting period during the show and this left many fans angry at their inability to cast their votes, however the show was spectacular and a great effort by all the team in Georgia.
