Hurricane will represent Serbia in Eurovision 2021!

After months of speculation whether the winners of Beovizija 2020 – the girl band Hurricane, are going to be internally selected for Eurovision 2021, or another Beovizija is going to be organized, the Head of Entertainment of RTS, Olivera Kovačević confirmed the news – Hurricane are going to Eurovision in 2021!

The Serbian news portal 24sedam spoke to the Head of Entertainment of RTS – Olivera Kovačević, who stated the following:

Hurricane are going to be representing Serbia in Eurovision next year, if it is going to be held as it is planned. They are not going to be competing with this year’s song, but a new song is going to be selected.

Various media in Serbia, including the fan page OGAE Serbia reported this news, and one of the three singers of Hurricane , Sanja Vučić – who already represented Serbia back in Eurovision 2016, said:

I’m really excited about this, but I can’t say anything more than that, because I still don’t know the details.

It is yet to be announced whether their song is going to be selected internally, or whether a special show where the public and/or the jury will choose the song will be organized and held. Stay tuned to ESCBubble for all the news from Serbia.
