Vote for your favourite Eurovision song of all time with BBC Radio 2’s ‘ESC Top 50’

British Radio Station BBC Radio 2 has this week launched The ‘ESC Top 50’ vote, giving you the chance to vote for all your favourite Eurovision songs of all time.

The BBC Radio 2 website reads:

What do you think are the best songs in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest finals?

You can vote now for your all-time favourite Eurovision songs on the Eurovision Song Contest Top 50 website where you can select between 3 and 15 songs from the last 65 years.

You can vote for your favourite songs from today until 1pm UK time/2pm CET on Sunday 9th May.

UK Broadcaster and Eurovision commentator Ken Bruce will then count down the UK’s Top 50 songs on the day of this year’s Grand Final, 22nd May, from 1-3pm UK time (2-4pm CET). You’ll also be able to hear the countdown on BBC Sounds app from the evening of 18th May.

You can vote for your favourite all time Eurovision songs by clicking here.

Anyone that votes can choose between 3 and 15 entries. The entries include all songs sung at the Eurovision Song Contest from the very first contest in 1956, right up until 2019. The competition does not include any entries from this year or last year.

Throughout May there’ll be a wealth of Eurovision coverage on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds, including new mixes featuring the best Eurovision music from over the years, another chance to hear classic programmes from the archives, plus coverage and reaction to all of the events on the night of the Grand Final.

As we reported in January, Loreen won the 2020 ESC Top 250 organised by ESC Radio with her 2012 winning entry ‘Euphoria’. Could the new ESC Top 50 countdown see Loreen win again?
