The 9th edition of the Eurovision Gala Night in Luxembourg is getting close, and we are ready to announce that yet another Eurovision winner will take part in this amazing event this year. The winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, Conchita Wurst, is the next star to perform at the Eurovision Gala Night in Luxembourg!

Conchita Wurst brought Austria’s second victory in the history of Eurovision with her song “Rise Like A Phoenix” in Copenhagen in 2014. Ever since then she has been touring around Europe and her songs charted all over the world, she “lent” her voice to Eva (the snow owl in Dreamworks’ “Penguins of Madagascar”), performed in the EU Parliament, accepted Novak Djokovic’s ice bucket challenge, was the Green Room host at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, and much more.

Conchita Wurst now joins Verka Serduchka and Mama as well as Dana International in the line-up of the 2016 Eurovision Gala Night in Luxembourg. This Gala will take place on the 22nd of October.
