Polish JESC National Final on 15th October at 17:30 CET

Polish public broadcaster TVP is ready to rock the stage of Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta. Poland is back to the competition after massive 12 years break. This country participated in JESC only twice, in both occasions finished last with 3 points per entry (2003-2004). Now it’s time to reach the top and TVP wants to do everything to promote the idea of Junior Eurovision among Polish viewers.

Only until 20th September Polish childred can submit their songs to the National Final scheduled for 15th October at 17:30 in Warsaw. The final list of participants should be revealed on 1st October and then TVP will start to air special promo episodes about each candidate. Program called “Eurovision for Juniors” will be aired every Saturday and Sunday at approx. 18:20 CET and will take up to 20 minutes. Last episode will be available on the day of National Final at 11:05 CET. During the National Final, which will take 2 hours, the new Polish entry will be selected thanks to the audience and jury decision (50/50). Details about the show have not been revealed yet.

Today documentary reportage about Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be aired by TVP1 at 18:10. Audience will be able to see the beauty of Malta – host country of this year’s contest and get to know more about the history of this competition.
