Here is YOUR winner of Eurovision: You Decide!

The British national selection Eurovision You Decide is taking place tonight in London, and six acts will compete to become the next Eurovision entrant for the United Kingdom.

In the past couple of days, ESCBubble ran a poll where you could vote for your personal favorite, the song that you would like to see representing the United Kingdom in Eurovision 2017 in Kiev. Here are the current results:

  1. Olivia Garcia – Freedom Hearts 31.94%
  2. Danyl Johnson – Light Up The World 22.81%
  3. Salena Mastroianni – I Don’t Wanna Fight 19.01%
  4. Holly Brewer – Wish I Loved You More 12.17%
  5. Nate Simpson – What Are We Made Of? 8.75%
  6. Lucie Jones – Never Give Up On You 5.32%

Olivia Garcia with her song “Freedom Hearts” is a clear winner of our poll, with over 9% of the votes ahead of the second placed Danyl Johnson, and almost 13% of votes ahead of Salena Mastroianni.

Our panel of editors listened to the sings finalists of Eurovision You Decide, and the result of our editors panel is as follows:

  1. Salena Mastroianni – I Don’t Wanna Fight
  2. Olivia Garcia – Freedom Hearts
  3. Nate Simpson – What Are We Made Of?
  4. Holly Brewer – Wish I Loved You More
  5. Lucie Jones – Never Give Up On You
  6. Danyl Johnson – Light Up The World

Anne gave her top marks to Salena, because she thinks “I Don’t Wanna Fight” is musically great, and it’s instantly appealing with the “Put down your weapons” reprise. Kyle also gave his top marks to Salena, because he found her song the most modern sounding musically of all the six songs, and the one with the catchiest hook and melody. Danny’s issue with “I Don’t Wanna Fight” is that he is not a fan of Salena’s voice, and the whole thing comes across as a bit cheap to him.

Eurovision You Decide will start at 20:30 CET, and a live broadcast will be available on BBC Two. ESCBubble will be present at the event, and will bring you some of the atmosphere from inside the venue, and some back-stage exclusives on our social media pages.

Our poll will close at the end of tonight’s show, so until then you can still vote for your favorite, and maybe change the result. Vote for the song you want to win Eurovision You Decide, and represent the United Kingdom in Eurovision 2017:
