Bulgaria calling in song submissions for Eurovision 2021

We’ve been informed recently that, due to the uncertainty created spread of COVID-19 throughout Europe, 2020 Eurovision Song Contest is cancelled, however, it’s up to the broadcasters, if they’ll select the same entrant, who’s been selected for the 2020 edition. Meanwhile, according to the EBU rules, songs chosen in 2020, are not eligible to compete in 2021 edition. You can read more about it here.

One of the 2020 contest hot favourites, Victoria, who wanted to represent Bulgaria at this years contest, was chosen again to represent Bulgaria, by its broadcaster, BNT.

This evening, BNT announced a call for the song submissions, one of which will represent Bulgaria at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.

Meanwhile – don’t forget – the Bulgarian representive at Eurovision 2020 Victoria also announced, that she will host an online concert for her fans and followers on 28 March. The 30-minute performance will take place at her home in Sofia and will be streamed live via eurovision.icard.com at 19 CET. Victoria will perform live her 2020 Eurovision song “Tear Getting Sober” and will cover some of her favourite songs.

Victoria was set to represent Bulgaria at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest with her song ‘Tears Getting Sober’, but unfortunately, due to the global situation, 65th edition was cancelled. You can listen to her 2020 entry here:
