Submission period open

The submission period for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest, the festival which will select next year’s Malta’s Eurovision entry, is now open! Hurry up if you want to enter your song, because the deadline is already tomorrow!

All artists with Maltese citizenship are allowed to enter the national selection, while the composers can be from abroad. The submissions are taking place at PBS Creativity Hub in Gwardamanga today, and tomorrow. Artists wishing to enter the national selection also need to enter an original song, as well as a cover version, so the preselection jury can also assess the quality of the artists vocals.

20 songs will be selected for the semi final show, where the top 14 will qualify for the final. Six jury members, and televoting counting as the 7th jury member will determine the qualifiers, as well as the winner of Malta Eurovision Song Contest. In case of a tie, televoting results will be excluded.

Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will take place in the former shipyard in Marsa, on the 21st and 22nd of November this year – only one week after Junior Eurovision 2014.
