Anne Marie David: “The most important thing in a song is the melody”

Anne Marie David was one of the special guests in Eurovision Live Concert in Setubal, where she performed both of her Eurovision entries – “Tu te reconnaitras”, her winning entry for Luxembourg from 1973, as well as her entry for France in 1979 – “Je suis l’enfant-soleil”. Apart from those two, she also performed Frida Boccara’s Eurovision entry “Un jour, un enfant” in a cappella.

We met Anne Marie David just before the Concert, and asked her about her stay in Portugal, and as she has been there many times, she also gave us tips on what everyone visiting Portugal shall go and see! We also asked her about Eurovision 1973, and also what would be a good song for Eurovision nowadays. Check out all of that and more in the following interview:
