Julia van Bergen won the Dutch National Final and will represent her country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta. The 15-years old singer received 36 points, which means that she got 12 points from the adult jury, children jury, and televoting. Her song is called “Around”.

Below you can find the results of this National Final:

  1. Julia “Around” 36 points
  2. Chelsea “Waarom” 30 points
  3. Suze “Holiday” 26 points
  4. Sebastiaan “2gether we are one” 25 points
  5. Anne & Anique “Domen” 21 points

Right after the show, the Dutch broadcaster opened submissions for next year’s Junior Songfestivalen which means that the Netherlands will probably take part in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 as well.

Tonight’s show in the Netherlands closed the very modest Junior Eurovision National Finals season. This year only Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Sweden and the Netherlands decided to choose their entries through a national selection. More countries (including all debut and comeback broadcasters) will select (or selected already) their junior singers and songs internally. The full list of Junior Eurovision entries should be published by the 30th of September, as the Heads of Delegations meeting is scheduled for the start of next week in Malta.
