Dino Merlin on an international tour

After a couple of years break, Dino Merlin is back in Scandinavia for his new concert tour. The tour started in Oslo, Norway on the 11th October. According to Dino’s management, Eventhallen in the capital city was full of fans which enjoyed every single song performed by two-times Bosnian Eurovision entrant.

Merlin sang not only his old and most popular songs, but as well as a few new songs from this year’s album “Hotel Nacional” i.e. “Skoljka”, “Sve dok te bude imalo” or “Ako izgovorim ljubav” which were performed for the first time in front of Norwegian audience.

On 18th of October Dino Merlin will perform in Frankfurt (Germany), but then he will go back to Scandinavia, as in his concert schedule we can find Gothenburg (25.10), Norrkoping (1.11) and Helsingborg (8.11) – three Swedish cities. As the organisers informed, local audience is very interested to see Dino Merlin live, as tickets are almost sold out. Until the end of the year Dino will perform in a few Western European cities as well, such as Stuttgart (Germany), Vienna (Austria) and Zurich (Switzerland).

Dino Merlin represented Bosnia & Herzegovina in 1999 with “Putnici” and finished 7th, which was the first top 10 score for Bosnia & Herzegovina since their debut in 1993. BHRT decided to send him again to Eurovision in 2011. He performed “Love in Rewind” and he finished 6th in the Grand Final with 125 points.

Bosnian broadcaster hopes to return to Eurovision after a two year break, but according to a poll provided by Klix.ba only 30% of voters said it’s time for Bosnia to come back to the competition. 55% said there are many different important things which country should care about, and they don’t want Bosnia to participate in Vienna. 15%of voters don’t follow the contest at all.
