Gaia Cauchi presents the Junior Eurovision 2014 theme song “#together”

The official theme song for this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest has just been revealed. Last year’s JESC winner, Gaia Cauchi, presented the song “#together” this afternoon.

Gaia is also the lead vocalist on the official album version of the song. As part of this year’s spectacle, each of the 16 participants will jointly sing parts of the song, which will be part of the interval act.

The song “#together” is a piece of work produced by composers Elton Zarb and Gordon Bonello, and lyricist Mat Muxu. During the launch of the song, Minister for Home Affairs and National Security, Dr Emanuel Mallia, Chairman of PBS, Dr Tonio Portughese, CEO of PBS and Executive Producer of Junior Eurovision 2014, Anton Attard, and Head of School Sr Edmondina were present, along with students, teachers and members of the Maltese delegation.
