New initiative for Junior Eurovision – Online voting!

Your coutry doesn’t participate in Junior Eurovison or you are even not from Europe? You are then privileged to take part in online voting at Junior Eurovision in Malta, as this new initiative for fans outside the 16 participating countries was announced today.

Online votes will not influence in the televoting results, but the winner of this voting will receive the special trophy “Online award” during the press conference after the show.

When the televoting window opens, viewers of the online stream will be directed to the voting page where they can give a vote to their favourite song. Only people located outside of the 16 participating countries can take part in this online voting. Sound of Data, the new televoting partner of the EBU, is well prepared to protect the process from fudging numbers and manipulated votes.

So, from any point of the whole world, you will be able to vote on November 15th for your favourite song at Junior Eurovision 2014 in Malta!
