Given the very difficult financial situation which BHRT is faced with, the national broadcaster has withdrawn from participation in Eurovision 2015, which will be organised in Austria next May.

As announced, the only way for Bosnia and Herzegovina to return to the Eurovision Song Contest was to find sponsors to finance the country’s participation. Unfortunately BHRT wasn’t able to find the financial support needed within the timeframe EBU provided.

This is the third time in a row that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not take part in Eurovision. The last time the country participated in the Contest was in 2012, when Maya Sar took the Eurovision stage with her entry “Korake Ti Znam”.
