Popular Dutch singer Trijntje Oosterhuis will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, as said by Anouk (who represented the Netherlands in Eurovision 2013) during the interview in “College Tour”, a popular Dutch talk show. The story has been published on NOS.nl and according to ANP sources it will be confirmed by the national broadcaster within few hours.

According to what is said in this interview, Anouk will write song for Trijntje. Anouk represented the Netherlands in 2013 with the song “Birds”, which finished 9th in the final, making Dutch fans able to celebrate their country first qualification for the final since 2004.

You can check more information about Trijntje on her website here. Not more regarding the Eurovision song has been provided so far. Trijntje is the third participant chosen for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna after Knez from Montenegro and Loic from Belgium.

The Netherlands participated in Eurovision since 1956 and won 4 times so far. The last winning song for the Netherlands was performed in 1975. After years of failures to qualify, Anouk finally managed to bring back the country to the Final in 2013, while the Netherlands ended up as the runner ups to Conchita Wurst thanks to The Common Linnets and their song “Calm after the storm” in Copenhagen.

Well, I couldn’t say that Anouk is reliable. She also thought that Ilse isn’t charismatic and that she will fail on Eurovision, and on the end Ilse ended up better than Anouk. 😀 I would wait the press-conference.
