In the beginning of December, the Belarusian broadcaster will reveal the list of 15 finalists of their national selection. The final will take place on the 26th of December in Minsk, and the winner will be chosen by jury and televoting. According to “Komsomolskaya Pravda” many popular singers submitted their songs to the competition.
Even if the song has not been presented yet, it is almost sure that the girlband “Milki”, put together by Alexander Rybak – the winner of Eurovision 2009, will qualify for the final. Their song is called “My Accent”, and it will be a fun entry about the Belarusian accent.
Last year’s Turkvizyon runner-up – Gunesh – will try again to represent Belarus at Eurovision Song Contest. This time the singer has prepared “I Believe In Miracles”. If she qualifies, it will be her 6th attempt to represent Belarus. Last time she participated in 2012 and finished 3rd with “Tell me why”.
Popular singer Uzari, who helped Nadezhda Misyakova to write her Junior Eurovision entry “Sokal”, submitted the song “Time”. He hopes to take part in the final once again, and this time to perform together with the violinist Maymuna. Band Napoli, duo Alesya Boyarskih & Yuriy Artemev, Anita Kurkach, trio Inzhir, Anna Shalyutina and Sweeter Boys have all submitted their entries to BTRC. Even two participants of “Mister Belarus” beauty competition want to represent their country in Vienna. Duo Misters hope to qualify for the final with the song “I Want You To Dance”.
