The first audition in Cyprus was broadcast last night, where the first nine acts sang for a place in the second round of the competition, the so called “Euro Challenge”. In order for them to qualify they needed a “Yes” from three out of four jury members.
Out of the first nine acts, four have made it to the second round of the competition:
- Eva Diva – Come and fight for freedom
- Aimily Charalampous – Right in
- Iosif Charalampous – I wanna dance (I say tempo)
- Maria Evangelou – Still
The second audition will be broadcast on the 14th of December, when another set of singers are going to try and wow the juries (Alex Panayi, Elena Patroklou, Despina Olympiou, and Tasos Trifonos), in order to make it to the “Euro Challenge” round.
