Daniel wins “The Best Guy” award

Macedonian Eurovision 2015 entrant, Daniel Kajmakoski won “NAJmomche” (“The Best Guy”) Award in 2014, after receiving more than 70% of the votes from the readers of a local teen magazine “Taa” (“She”). The winner of Skopje Festival 2014 beat i.e. Joce Panov or famous composer Robert Bilbilov.

“I like how this word guy sounds. I’m 30 years old and I can only thank God for feeling to be an idol for teenagers and older people. It means I have a big responsibility towards them all. I do my best to be the perfect example for them and always deliver my smile to those who need it.” – Daniel said during his meeting with the editors of “Taa”. He is not the first Eurovision participant who became “The Best Guy” in history of this magazine. Tose Proeski (2004), Adrijan Gaxha (2008), Next Time (2009) and Lozano (2013) received this award in the past as well.

We presented Daniel’s song recorded with Tamara Todevska a couple of days ago. His Serbian song “Ne mogu protiv srca svog” reached the 1st place in MTV Adria’s Charts “Domacica”. Kajmakoski released as well a “Silent Night” carol in three languages – English, German and Macedonian, to celebrate the Catholic and Orthodox Christmas with his fans.

Daniel Kajmakoski will represent Macedonia in Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna with “Lisja esenski” which won “Skopje Fest 2014”. His song has to be modified to fullfil the three-minute Eurovision rule. It is still unknown whether Daniel is going to perform his song in Macedonian, or in English in Vienna.
