Since last year, many artists were named to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. Edurne’s name has appeared everywhere especially last week.
Today TVE, the Spanish broadcaster, in a press conference, revealed the name of the representative.
Edurne started her career in 2005 in Operación Triunfo (academy reality show). Last year she came back to talent shows, this time participating and winning the Spanish version of “Your face sounds familiar” – “Tu cara me suena”.
Edurne has confirmed that she had to quit her job in a popular tv show, in order to focus in an “international project” and here it is.
We will need to wait a bit for the song, but TVE has confirmed that it will be composed by Eurovision Veteran Toni Sanchez-Ohlsson, producer of Edurne’s album and composer for the 2012 Spanish entry “Quedate conmigo”, performed by Pastora Soler.
Spain has reached the top 10 last year with Ruth Lorenzo and her “Dancing in the rain”.
