Italy is not going to host Junior Eurovision in 2015

The EBU revealed today that Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 is not going to be held in Italy.

Italy won the Contest in 2014 with the song “Tu Primo Grande Amore”, sung by Vincenzo Cantiello. RAI, the Italian broadcaster, were asked if they wanted to host the next edition of this Contest in 2015. It took two months for RAI to discuss things, and make a final decision that RAI is not in a position to host this competition in Italy in 2015.

However, two countries showed their interest to be the host for the next competition, which will be held in November or December 2015. However, it was not revealed which two countries are interested. It is expected that the host broadcaster will be announced by the end of January.

You have some time to try to guess the host. In the meanwhile, have one more listen to the winner of Junior Eurovision 2014!
