Nodi’s views and thoughts on the five finalists in Georgia

The Georgian national final will take place in two days time, and five songs are going to battle it out which is going to be the one to represent Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

We spoke to Nodi (Nodiko Tatishvili) who represented Georgia in Eurovision in Malmo about this national selection. As someone who’s been to Eurovision already and represented his country, we asked Nodi for his thoughts and comments on this year’s Georgian final, as well as his personal ranking, and here is what he told us:

The five songs in our selection all are good. I mean, all music, melodies, and lyrics too, and I honestly think that my colleagues did a great job. Here is how I would rank the five songs:

  1. Niutone – Run Away
  2. Misha Sulukhia – One And Only
  3. Nina Sublatti – Warrior
  4. Edward Meison – We Are Free
  5. Eteri Beriashvili – If Someone

Niutone are my personal favourites for the Eurovision Song Contest, because they have a different style, and musically they have achieved something very high level, for me of course. Nevertheless, I think that all five songs are really fantastic, and that Europe deserves to hear all five of them!

Do you agree with Nodi? Which song is your favourite in Georgia? Let us know in our poll:
