Tonight at 20:00 CET LRT will air the second recorded episode of their national selection for Eurovision 2015 in Vienna. The 12 candidates will perform covers of international hits in tonight’s show.

This episode was originally scheduled for last week, but LRT decided to air the show where the participants sang local hits instead. The points of the Lithuanian jury (including Linas, the Lithuanian entrant in Eurovision 2004) will be combined with points from an international jury – Peter Jenner from the UK, Lela Tsurtsumia from Georgia, and Rene Romkes from the Netherlands. At the end of the episode, the final results will be reached with a 50/50 mix (International+Lithuanian jury, and televoting). Results from first episode will be added up with the points from tonight’s show and the singer with the least points will be eliminated.

• Tadas Juodsnukis “Here I Go Again” (Whitesnake)
• Vaidas Baumila “Hallelujah” (Leonard Cohen)
• Wilma La “Set Fire to the Rain” (Adele)

As this episode was recorded back in December, we already know that Lithuanian jury will gave 12 points to Monika Linkyte (you can check more details on this show in our previous article here). Wilma La seems to be in danger as she finished last in the first episode, and the Lithuanian jury will once again give her no points tonight. It’s worth to mention that Wilma came to Lithuania from Australia, where she currently lives, just to participate in this competition.

Even though one singer will be eliminated tonight, LRT has already recorded the third show, where all participants performed the selection entries for the first time. The broadcaster will publish the selected songs in demo on their website on the 12th of January, and the first round of online voting will kick off. You can check the list of songs here.
