TVE to announce the Spanish Eurovision entrant tomorrow!

The Spanish national broadcaster TVE is once again opting for an internal selection of the artist, which will represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest. A special press conference will be held tomorrow, where the selected artist is going to be announced.

There are strong rumours going around the Internet that the selected artist is going to be Edurne, with a song written by Tony Sanchez-Ohlsson (the co-composer of “Quedate Conmigo” for Pastora Soler, as well as “I Love You Mi Vida” for D’Nash). Edurne is a well-known Spanish pop singer, who rose to fame after taking part in “Operacion Triumfo” – the talent show where one of the finalists also got the right to represent Spain in Eurovision (from 2002 to 2004). Edurne has also confirmed her interest in Eurovision, and that she has submitted a “great upbeat song” to TVE.
