BBC to reveal the UK entry on the 7th of March!

The British national broadcaster BBC is going to reveal this year’s Eurovision entry of the United Kingdom on the 7th of March!

Months ago, it was announced that the BBC is opting for an open selection this year, so that anyone interested can send their song(s) in to the broadcaster. A specially formed jury has listened through all the submitted songs, and once they made a short list, they contacted those composers in order to give them an opportunity to come back with any further suggestions or refinements which they thought would really maximise the impact of their songs.

Ultimately, there was one song that stood out from the rest, and eventually got selected to represent the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. This song will be premiered on the 7th of March, right after The Voice. The song will be presented on BBC Red Button, bbc.co.uk/eurovision and eurovision.tv.
