For those of you travelling to Vienna, you may be wondering what to do in the evenings of the first week of rehearsals, as both EuroClub and EuroFan Café will not open until Sunday 17 May. Well worry no more!
A schedule of events, entitled ‘Eurovision Nights’ has been announced which will see Eurovision parties taking place across a number of different venues in Vienna. The parties can be attened by delegation members, accredited press and fans.
The scuedule is as follows:
Monday 11 May: Eurovision Start Night: Café Leopold (Museumsplatz 1) Special guests : Electronic Duo ‘Möwe’.
Tuesday 12 May: Eurovision Jam Night: U4 (Schönbrunner Straße 222-228). Eurovision participants have been invited for a spontaneous jam session with the Eurovision Session band.
Wednesday 13 May: Eurovision Jam Night: Albertina Passage (Opernring/Operngasse). Eurovision participants have been invited for a spontaneous jam session with the Eurovision Session band.
Thursday 14 May: Eurowies’n Night: Unteres Belvedere (Prinz-Eugen-Straße 27). The biggest costume party under the motto “Beautiful, Colorful, Traditional – Your Country, Your Style!”. All guests are invited to wear typical clothing and costumes of their countries.
Friday 15 May: Eurovision Jam Night: Chaya Fuera (Kandlgasse 19-21). Eurovision participants have been invited for a spontaneous jam session with the Eurovision Session band.
Saturday 16 May: Eurovision Life Ball Night: Pratersauna (Waldsteingartenstraße 135). Europe’s largest charity event can be followed on a large public screen.
