Leonor Andrade wins Festival da Canção 2015!

After two exciting semi-finals, this evening, Leonor Andrade has won Festival da Canção 2015 with her song ‘Há um mar que nos separa’ (There is a sea that separates us) and she will represent Portugal in Vienna.

Six songs competed this evening and three songs qualified for the superfinal. Two of which, Leonor and Teresa were decided by televotes. Gonçalo qualified via the jury vote, as he did from the semi-final.

After another round of televoting, Leonor was then announced as the winner of Festival da Cançao 2015!

Leonor will compete in the first half of the second semi-final on Thursday 21 May, in the hope of reaching the grand final two days later. The last time Portugal were in the Grand Final was in 2010. Will Leonor reverse their recent run of bad luck?
