Lynda Woodruff is back – for the Eurovision Anniversary!

In a new article on the Melodifestivalen website, SVT has officially announced the return of Lynda Woodruff – Sarah Dawn Finer’s character, well known for the short clips during the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest – as a host for the red carpet in London, during the ceremony for the Eurovision 60th Anniversary.

SVT were actively involved in the process of creating the TV event, with Petra Mede hosting it alongside Graham Norton and Edward af Sillén writing the script, and they will bring another piece of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest team, with Sarah Dawn Finer’s character and Christer Björkman live from the studio.

The show will be recorded next Tuesday, 31st of March and will be broadcast in different countries across Europe during eastertime. On the Swedish channel, SVT1, the show will be scheduled on Saturday 4th April, with the pre-show at 21:25, the gala at 21:45 and the aftershow at 23:20.

Sarah Dawn Finer has also been announced as the host for the popular Swedish Eurovision preview show “Inför Eurovision Song Contest”. This year, she will be the host with Christer Björkman as her sidekick. The show will focus also on Måns Zelmerlöw’s path towards Vienna.
