This morning, the Belgian French Community broadcaster RTBF presented a snippet of Loïc Nottet’s entry Rhythm Inside in a special press conference.

Our first goal was to choose a song that does not sound like a typical Eurovision song. The ‘music world’ of Loïc Nottet is very far from the Contest, says Philippe Coppens from Sony Music Entertainment in the show “Morning” on Belgian Radio 1.

Philippe Coppens is hoping that Nottet will do well in the semi-final in Vienna.

I think that we’re definitely going to stand out with our urban track. Nottet is also one of the youngest candidates. We absolutely must reach the final. That’s the biggest goal, explains Coppens.

Belgium was placed in the first half of the first semi-final, to be held on 19th of May.
