Daniel Kajmakoski covers “Džuli”.

Preparation for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest are in full swing and the Macedonian entrant Daniel Kajmakoski seems has been getting in the mood covering the 1983 Yugoslavian entry “Džuli”, sang by Daniel Popovic.

There is a big reason for Daniel to sing this song: as wanted by his mother, the name of her second son, born in 1983, was to be named after the Yugoslavian popstar Daniel Popovic that participated that year to the Eurovision Song Contest. Popovic ended up fourth out of 19 acts.

Daniel wanted to cover the song as a surprise for all of the Eurovision fans and, specially, for his mother, who wanted him to be a singer since he was a child.
