Since the introduction of semi finals in 2004, Austria has qualified from the semi finals only in two occasions – in 2011, and last year, when Austria also won the Contest. It was Nadine Beiler who brought Austria’s first ever qualification from the semi final in 2011, with her beautiful ballad “The Secret Is Love“.

Nadine is currently the lead singer of the band Sunrise16, who’s very first single “Don’t Waste My Time” stayed in the Top 20 of Austria’s airplays for over four months! Nadine currently also plays the role of Maria Magdalena in the play Jesus Christ Superstar. She has joined our panel of Eurovision stars reviewing this year’s Eurovision songs, and she gave us her thoughts and opinions on the following five songs:

2. Georgia – Nina Sublatti – Warrior
3. Greece – Maria Elena Kyriakou – One Last Breath
4. Hungary – Boggie – Wars For Nothing
5. Lithuania – Monika Linkyte & Vaidas Baumila – This Time
