Italy will take part in Junior Eurovision 2015

Although Italian broadcaster RAI refused to host Junior Eurovision 2015 after Vincenzo Cantiello’s victory, but will send new entry to the contest in Sofia. Once again the singer will be selected during the popular competition “Ti lascio una canzone” and broadcaster will announce it during the first night of the show, on 12th September. Worth to mention, it will be fifth participant known from “Ti lascio una canzone” participated in Junior Eurovision after Michele Perniolla (San Marino 2013), Gaia Cauchi (Malta 2013), Federica Falzon (Malta 2014) and Vincenzo Cantiello (Italy 2014). Almost all of them (except Michele Perniolla) finished in top4 of Junior Eurovision.

Italy debuted at the Junior Eurovision last year with Vincenzo Cantiello who reached 1st place with 159 points thanks to his impressive voice and love-ballad “Tu primo grande amore” in Italian and English. Rai Gulp will broadcast Junior Eurovision 2015 and is delighted to take part because “this programme for children promotes music as a universal language, which crosses cultural and geographical boarders”.

Junior Eurovision will take place on 21st November 2015 in Arena Armeec in the capital city of Bulgaria – Sofia. You can read more about new JESC logo here.
