Today, the Junior Eurovision Steering Group met once again in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. At the meeting BNT,the Bulgarian broadcaster, presented their ideas for the stage decorations and key figures, but the biggest news was the approval of a logo by the Steering Group. And straight after the meeting the logo was revealed!
The logo is one more element of the show this year. The first one was the slogan #discover and the logo is its continuation to one of the concepts, which is “discovering the world around us”.
Director General of BNT, Viara Ankova, marked, that “we live in technological world with horizons and opportunities ever expanding”, and the word “technological” appears once again in the description of the logo: technological flower. At the same time the flower connects the logo with the Bulgarian nature, which was an inspiration for the creative team. And to finalize the concept of the logo, Viara Ankova adds: “The logo shows how Bulgaria’s young people are the seeds of the future; venturing out from the safety of tradition to explore and discover a new future for themselves and for us all.”
In November people from many countries will have an opportunity to #discover Bulgaria as a country of beautiful nature and friendly people, ancient culture and traditions.
