Måns, Guy and Margaret on the same stage in Oslo

In just over a week, on June 20th, Scandinavia’s largest free concert, VG-lista topp 20, organized by Norwegian newspaper VG and radio channel NRK P3, takes place in Oslo. As always there are a lot of big names who will take the stage, including a few Eurovision artists.

Two of this year’s participants, Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöv and Australia’s Guy Sebastian, have already been confirmed, but rumour has it that there might be more to come…

In an interview with VGTV after their semi in Vienna Mörland&Debrah Scarlett revealed that they had already been asked to take part in the concert. However, they are not on the list of confirmed participants that was updated today.

Guy Sebastian sent the following message to the Norwegian audience; “Hi Norway! It’s me, Guy Sebastian. I’m playing at VG-lista at Rådhusplassen on June 20th, and I’m looking forward to it. It’s the first time I get to play in Norway, so come! I hope to see you there”.

Norway’s representative in Eurovision Song Contest 2013, Margaret Berger, who finished 4th with “I Feed You My Love”, will also perform. She is part of a female trio, made up of her, Marion Ravn and Silya Nymoen, who many of you might remember as one of the hosts of this year’s MGP. Silya also participated in MGP 2012, with her song “Euphoria”, but she didn’t make it to the final.

Another Eurovision related artist who will also perform during this big concert is the duo Staysmann&Lazz. You might remember them from this year’s Melodi Grand Prix, where they finished third with their entry “En Godt Stekt Pizza”, and that is most likely the song they will perform in Oslo next week.

The twins Markus and Martinus, who won MGPjr in 2012 with their song “To dråper vann” (Two Drops of Water), will also be part of the concert, where they will perform songs from their new album.

We will keep you informed in case more Eurovision artists are announced.
