The Swiss Radio and Television union consisting of RTS, RSI, and SRF/RTR, have just published all the details regarding their search for Switzerland’s entry in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Stockholm.
Starting from the 28th of September, until the 26th of October at 8:00 CET, all the interested artists will be able to submit their songs for Entscheidungsshow 2016. All submitted songs will take part in an online voting, where the ten most voted songs by the public and a special jury will proceed to the Expert Check, as the contestants of SRF/RTR.
RSI, the Italian speaking broadcaster will once again hold a preselection round, where three qualifiers are going to be selected for the Expert Check. The French speaking broadcaster RTS will be selecting a total of six songs for the Expert Check.
At the Expert Check, the jury will listen to all the 19 selected songs live, and based on the quality of the songs, the artists’ vocals and stage presence they will choose the best ones to enter the Entscheidungsshow. They will select three songs from SRF/RTR, two from RTS, and one from RSI.
Entscheidungsshow will once again take place in the Bodensee Arena in Kreuzlingen, on the 13th of February 2016.
