Another act has been announced to take part in the annual Eurovision Gala Night in Luxembourg, which will take place on the 31st of October in the prestigious Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains. The sixth act to be present at this fantastic Gala are Baccara feat Maria Mendiola! They are joining Sinplus, Sestre, András Kállay-Saunders, Ruslana and Gigliola Cinquetti as the special guests at this charity event.

Baccara represented Luxembourg in Eurovision back in 1978 with the song “Parlez-vous francais?”, and they finished 7th, but became a hit world-wide. Apart from this amazing song, their hits “Yes Sir, I Can Boogie” and “Sorry, I’m A Lady” topped the charts in more than 15 countries all over the world, and became true evergreens.

Seeing as Eurovision Gala Night Luxembourg is a charity event, Baccara and Maria Mendiola have also announced that they will give the fee offered to them to charity as well. Give a listen to Baccara’s Eurovision entry back from 1978 for Luxembourg – “Parlez-vous francais?”:
