Albanian broadcaster RTSH has released an ad announcing they will use Festivali i Këngës as national selection for Eurovision once again:
This will be the 54th edition and RTSH is inviting all singers and composers to send in their entries. Composers must send in the final version of the song, sung by the singer who is actually willing to compete with that entry and digital pictures of the performer or performers. It is not allowed for a singer or composer to have more than one song in the competition, a lyricist however is allowed to have a maximum of two songs in the running.
Lastly, the Eurovision rule applies here as well: all performers of the song must be 16 years or older.
Radio Tirana is accepting the songs on the 29th and 30th of September from 9:00 until 14:00 both days.
More details regarding dates and hosts will follow at a later stage and by the end of the festival we will know who will be succeeding Elhaida Dani as the Albanian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest!
