The Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT, and the host of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest, have also handed in the necessary documents and their preliminary application to take part in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm!
The list of countries to take part in the next Eurovision Song Contest is getting longer and longer, but nevertheless, all countries which submit their preliminary applications can withdraw until the 10th of October without paying any penalties.
After a two year break, Bulgaria might be coming back to the Eurovision Song Contest! Their last entry to date was “Samo Shampioni” sung by Elitsa & Stoyan, who represented their country in 2013 in Sweden, and failed to qualify for the Final. Bulgaria’s best result was “Voda” in 2007, also sung by Elitsa & Stoyan.
