Bosnia & Herzegovina confirm their preliminary participation for 2016!

BHRT, the national broadcaster of Bosnia & Herzegovina, have send in the all the necessary paperwork to the EBU in order to participate in the next edition of Europe’s favorite tv show. This would mean a big comeback of Bosnia & Herzegovina after withdrawing from the Contest back in 2013!

According to the Bosnian newspaper Faktor.ba quotes Dejan Kukric (the Head of Delegation of Bosnia & Herzegovina) who confirms that they have sent the preliminary paperwork, however, no final decision has been made. The final decision should be made by the 10th of October.

All the countries can withdraw without any penalties until the 15th of October. Last year Bosnia & Herzegovina have also confirmed their comeback, but later had to withdraw again for financial reasons.

The last entrant for Bosnia & Herzegovina up to date was Maya Sar, who sang “Korake ti znam” back in 2012, in Baku. She finished 18th in the Grand Final.
