Junior Songfestival 2015: Shalisa and Guusje qualify for the final!

Tonight, in Amsterdam, was held the first semi-final of Junior Song Festival 2015. Four young and talented artists got up on stage (Shalisa, Guusje, Daniel and Katrina) and only 2 qualified for the final, that will be held in two weeks, on October 3rd. Jan Smit, a Dutch singer, was the host of the show.

Shalisa, who sang “a million lights” and Guusje, who performed one of her songs called “talk about love”, were chosen by both juries (junior and professional) and televoters and will perform in the Final, in two weeks. Katrina and Daniel, who failed to qualify, but still had amazing performances, can still hope to obtain the wildcard spot to qualify for the Final. Only one of the four acts didn’t qualify from both semi-finals, will receive the wild-card spot.

The professional jury members Gerard Joling, Yes-R, Leona Philippo and the junior jury included last year’s winner, Julia.

The second semi-final is on next Saturday, September 26th, and 4 other great acts (Myrthe, 4LIFE, Eliyha and Nohr) will perform to earn their place for the Final. Here are the songs that will compete in the second semi-final.

Nohr – Ik Ben Mezelf

Myrthe – Kinderen van de zon
