As ESCBubble reported earlier, Russia will be finding its JESC representative through a national final this year.
It has just become known that this national final will be taking place on the 25th of September, starting at 21:00 local time (20:00 CET).
The set-up for the national final is as follows: at a certain point Karusel, the channel hosting the NF, will open an online voting where people can vote for their favourites in the lead-up to the final and during the show itself a professional jury will also have its say. Both the online voting and the jury votes will count for 50% of the result each.

The finalists themselves will be revealed next week on Monday the 21st.
