San Marino confirmed for Junior Eurovision 2015

San Marino will take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the third time – Vladislav Yakovlev announced this news on Sunday morning via his Twitter account. It means 16 countries are now confirmed for Sofia and the final participants list is not closed yet as EBU let all the broadcasters think about to join the contest until the end of September. The biggest Junior Eurovision took place in 2004 with 18 countries participating but 14 of them will not be represented in Sofia this year (incl. Sweden, Croatia or Cyprus).

SMRTV joined the contest in 2013 with Michele Perniolla and his entry “O-o-O Sole intorno a me” which finished 10th out of 12 countries with 42 points. Last year this small country was represented by girls-band The Peppermints with “Breaking my heart” in Italian and English. Anita, Rafaella, Greta, Arianna and Sara scored 21 points and finished 15th out of 16.
