Shalisa wins Junior Songfestival 2015!

Tonight was held in Amsterdam, the national final of the Netherlands in order to find their representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015. 5 acts were competing to become the Dutch representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

The winner is now known and it is Shalisa who will have the chance to represent the Netherlands, in Sofia, at the end of November. Her song is called ”a million lights”. The 4 other acts (4LIFE, Myrthe, Nohr and Guusje) also had amazing performances and can obviously be proud of what they have accomplished , during those 3 weeks.

The qualifiers from the first semi-final were Shalisa and Guusje. Nohr and 4LIFE qualified for the final from the second semi-final. Myrthe, who finished in 3rd place, in the second semi-final, won the wild-card and got the chance to perform during the final. Katrina, Eliyha and Daniel, who failed to qualify for the final, also were great.  Jan Smit was the host of this year’s show.

2/3 of the votes were given by the jury (kids jury and professional jury) and 1/3 of the votes were given by the televoters. The professional jury members were: Gerard Joling, Yes-R and Leona Philippo.

Shalisa will succeed to Julia, who represented the Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014, and finished 8th.
