Austria announces details for Wer singt für Österreich?

Austrian broadcaster ÖRF has just announced their plans for their national final for Wer singt für Österreich? the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
A national final with 10 participants will be held on February 12. Televoters and an expert jury will choose the Austrian representative together. Nine of those participants will be picked by Austrian music expert Eberhart Forcher. The tenth participant will be a so-called ”Facebook wildcard”. Submissions for this Facebook wildcard can be sent to songcontest@orf.at until the 11th of December. After that a jury will compile a shortlist out of these entries and organise a Facebook voting.

The list of participating will be disclosed in early January.
